HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 56 Proposing an amendment to                        
the Constitution of the State of Alaska prohibiting certain initiatives        
relating to wildlife, was before the Senate in second reading (page            
3289).                                                                         
                                                                               
Senator Phillips moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1, which              
had been offered (page 3288).

Senator Taylor objected to the adoption of Amendment No. 1.
